Malaysia's gazetted public-holiday calendar differs by state. This review adds Selangor, Sarawak and Sabah calendars where official schedules were verified. Selangor includes the 2026 Silver Jubilee and its dated replacement; Sarawak includes the published June holiday overlap replacements. Sabah's 2027 gazette has an unresolved Agong-date conflict, which remains subject to official change. A gazetted holiday list is not an employee entitlement selection: employer, employment-law and rest-day rules still apply. Other states and incomplete future state schedules are not certified.

Malaysia began observing 1 May as a public holiday in 1973. Its domestic purpose sits within the international workers' day tradition.

Bank hours and settlement calendars require the institution's own notice. A public-holiday occurrence does not establish every branch's opening hours.
