Listed dates are national public holidays in the cited calendar. No separate office-closure flag or inferred bridge day is added.

History

Armed Forces Day is the official 27 March commemoration. This calendar records holiday status neutrally and does not endorse political claims.

Why it matters

The listing distinguishes nationwide public-holiday status from cultural observance. A festival or commemoration is not treated as a closure without national official support.

Observance

Customs and public ceremonies vary by holiday. Celebration alone does not establish an additional closure day.

Travel and planning

Thingyan and major lunar festivals can affect transport and public services. Check current official notices before travel.
