Serbia’s holiday law specifies the first day of Christmas on 7 January. It follows Christmas Eve traditions on 6 January, which may receive separate annual workplace recommendations but is not the same statutory entitlement.
Serbia observes New Year and Statehood Day over two days and Orthodox Easter from Friday through Monday. A state holiday on Sunday produces the next working day off; religious holidays do not transfer. Additional faith-specific entitlements are outside the nationwide calendar.
