How we research holiday dates
Office Public Holidays uses official government calendars, legislation, public-service notices and recognized international authorities wherever available. We record the authority and source URL so important dates can be checked.
What we review
Our review considers the legal date, observed weekday, national or regional scope, and whether offices, banks or schools are covered. A public holiday does not automatically mean every private employer or institution is closed.
When dates change
Some holidays depend on local announcements or calendar observations. We update the relevant calendar when a responsible authority publishes new information.
