Why it matters
Philippine regular holidays and special non-working days have different employment treatment. The 2026 and 2027 calendars follow their dated national proclamations, including additional All Souls' Day and Christmas Eve dates. Eid dates require separate proclamations. The 2028 calendar is a provisional statutory forecast: discretionary Chinese New Year and Black Saturday dates, and unverified Eid dates, are withheld until a dated authority is available. Local proclamations are outside this nationwide list.
Observance
Labour groups organize marches, assemblies and policy events. Government agencies commonly publish employment programmes or labour-standard reminders.
