Assumption: Saturday and Sunday are non-working days, plus the listed public holidays. This is your planning assumption, not a universal legal workweek. Employer schedules may differ. Only supported holiday dates are included.

Official sources and date status

Recorded confirmation and independent source review are shown separately. An institution-specific notice does not establish closure for every employer or school.

Public holiday information

Official-source review is tracked in the sources section above. A stored confirmed flag is not proof that this site has independently checked the applicable annual notification. Islamic dates and closure periods can require later notices; retain the distinction between an observance and the days listed for public-holiday purposes.

Offices

Office closure coverage has not been independently established for every entry. Check the notice applicable to your organisation and its staffing arrangements. Essential services and private employers may have different schedules; a public-holiday entry alone is not an assurance that every office closes.

Banks

For banking arrangements, consult the applicable State Bank of Pakistan notice and your own institution. Any source shown above applies only to the scope stated in that source. Missing bank data should not be interpreted as an open branch or normal payment processing.

Schools

School calendars and term breaks need the relevant education authority or institution notice. The public-holiday calendar does not provide complete school-closure coverage. Check examinations, attendance requirements and local announcements directly with the school.

Practical planning

Compare the calendar weekdays and the long-weekend planner before arranging a trip. Confirm transport schedules, accommodation terms and attraction opening hours directly. Breaks containing estimated holiday dates remain provisional.

Frequently asked questions

How many holidays are listed?

The year summary above counts calendar entries and distinct dates separately. Several closure days can belong to one holiday, and different occasions can share a date.

Are these dates officially verified?

Each entry shows its recorded status. Independent source review is separate; estimated dates and entries awaiting source review require checking before firm commitments.

Does a weekend holiday automatically move to Monday?

A weekend date alone does not establish a substitute holiday. Use an applicable official notice rather than inferring an extra weekday off.

How can I plan a long weekend?

Select your assumed weekend pattern in the planner. It combines that pattern with listed public holidays and identifies breaks that include estimated dates.
