History
International Anti-Corruption Day was established in 2003 by United Nations through A/RES/58/4. The first observance recorded by the establishing programme was in 2004. The official source remains the reference point for changes to the date, designation or annual campaign. The date is stored independently from country calendars so a global observance is never mistaken for a legal closure.
