Office arrangements
Use your employer's announcement and essential-service roster for 1 January. International teams should agree response deadlines in advance, especially where colleagues follow different weekends. A public-holiday classification does not mean that every shop, hotel, clinic or customer-facing business stops operating.
Bank arrangements
Check branch hours and processing cut-offs with your bank. Digital access, counter service and settlement availability are different matters.
